The European Commission has approved Sweden's request to continue to exempt biogas from tax until the end of 2020 and other biofuels until the end of 2018. This outcome is much appreciated by Region Västra Götaland, Region Skåne and many stakeholders in the industry, who have been working to promote such a decision for almost two years.
